Terms of Use

Using Pertly

Pertly is provided as-is. We recommend places to go and things to do — we don't run those venues or events, and we can't guarantee they'll match the description, be open when you arrive, or have tickets available. Always check with the venue or event organiser before you commit.

Pertly is launching in beta. That means the product is live, but coverage, freshness, and recommendation quality may vary by city while we improve our data and curation systems.

Who can use Pertly

Pertly is currently available only in England. If you're outside England parts of the app won't work as expected. We ask whether you're 18 or over so we can hide age-restricted recommendations where needed.

AI-generated content

Surprise Me itineraries, the editorial subtitle on each card, and other recommendation copy are produced by AI models (see the Privacy Policy for which providers we use and what we share). AI-generated text can occasionally contain errors, misread a venue's character, or invent a detail that isn't quite right. Treat AI copy as a starting point for your own judgment, not verified fact. Pertly is not responsible for decisions you make based solely on AI-generated text — always confirm important details (opening hours, accessibility, prices) with the venue or event organiser directly.

Your account

Keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for activity on your account. If you think someone else has access, change your password from the settings page or contact us.

You can request account deletion from settings. Deletion has a 14-day grace period, during which you can cancel deliberately from the in-app banner or settings. After that period, deletion is irreversible.

Acceptable use

  • Don't use Pertly to harass other users (group plans, shared itineraries, or any social feature).
  • Don't share private or sensitive information in public group plan guest names or votes. Anyone with the invite link may be able to view that group plan.
  • Don't scrape the API or attempt to circumvent rate limits.
  • Don't submit false venue reports or attempt to manipulate the recommendation engine.
  • Don't use Pertly to plan or facilitate anything illegal, or to share illegal content.

Bookings and tickets

When you tap a ticket link on Pertly, you're leaving for the ticket provider's site (Ticketmaster, Skiddle, ClassBento, or another provider). The transaction is between you and them, governed by their terms. Pertly may receive a small affiliate commission — this never changes the price you pay.

Group plans and shared links

If you create a group plan, you are responsible for who you share the invite link with. Guests can vote in or pass without creating an account. Group plan links are designed to be easy to share, so treat them as public to anyone who has the link.

Paid access

Pertly may offer paid subscriptions, 7-day passes, or referral credits for heavier planning use. Payments are processed by Stripe. Pertly Plus expands usage, but it still includes fair-use limits, including a cap of 5 Surprise Me generations per day and group-plan guest limits.

Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew until cancelled. If you cancel, you keep paid features until the end of the current paid period. 7-day passes do not renew and end automatically. Refunds are not automatic for used subscription periods or passes, but if there has been a duplicate charge, billing error, or exceptional issue, contact us and we'll review it. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Referral credits are promotional. Two activated referrals may grant 7 days of Plus, subject to anti-abuse checks and monthly reward caps. We may change, pause, or withdraw referral promotions if they are abused or no longer fit the product.

Not professional advice

Pertly recommends activities for fun and discovery. Nothing on the platform is medical, legal, financial, or professional advice — including wellness recommendations and any AI-generated copy around them.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms or that put other users or the service at risk. You can close your account at any time from the settings page.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pertly isn't liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability we can't exclude by law (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud).

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

Changes

We may update these terms occasionally. If we make a material change, we'll show a notice in the app before the change takes effect.
